Prospective Employees

  • How long is orientation?
    • Orientations vary with each client. Orientations can be as short as one hour or as long as 40 hours. Check with a staffing coordinator before starting an assignment and learn what the orientation is for the facility where you will be working.
  • Do you offer insurance?
    • We are in the process of looking at first day eligible insurance for our full time employees working more than 30 hours per week. We currently offer , dental, and vision insurance.
  • What are your pay rates?
    • Our rates are very competitive, but we don’t publish pay rates until a candidate proceeds through our interview process. Please contact our office to learn more.
  • How does PRN work?
    • PRN is “as needed”. You give us your availablity and we match that with our client’s needs. For more details, please visit our supplemental staffing page.
  • How do contracts work?
    • Contracts are generally for 8 – 13 weeks and involve commitments from both the client and the employee. The days and hours are established within a contract and then both parties are expected to honor the agreement. For more details, please visit our supplemental staffing page.
  • How many years experience do you need to have?
    • We have different experience requirements based on your professional or non-professional classification. Our staffing coordinators can provide more details.
  • How do cancellations work?
    • Clients have the ability to cancel up to two hours before a shift. If you are cancelled within two hours of the beginning of a shift, you will reimbursed for two hours of pay.
  • Do you pay weekly?
    • We pay bi-weekly.
  • How do I apply?
    • Go to the home page of the RN & Allied Specialties website and click on Apply Now. Follow the instructions and enter information as directed.
  • Do you have full time positions?
    • Yes. Depending on experience and availability, full time work may be available through either contract or PRN scheduling. (See responses on PRN and contracts questions.)
